Laura Aguiar
Laura Aguiar is a PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast. Her practice-based research focuses on giving visibility to women’s experiences of war and prisons through collaborative filmmaking. She co-directed and edited the 60min film We Were There, in collaboration with the Prisons Memory Archive and its participants. Laura has also worked as a freelance journalist in Brazil and Sweden.
